The Journal of Science and Nutrition (REDCieN) is a scientific journal sponsored by the Mexican College of Dieticians A.C. It publishes original articles, author's opinions (reviews), systematic reviews, editorials, technical reports, conference manuscripts, and poster abstracts of academic-scientific events related to nutrition and health. This special edition, Volume 13.EE1, publishes the proceedings of the 1st National Meeting of Nutritionists of the Mexican College of Nutritionists, which took place in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico, on August 1 and 2, 2024. The special edition comprises a technical report that includes a summary of the event prepared by the National President of the CMN and the President of the Puebla Chapter; four review articles resulting from collaborative work by four teams of nutritionist from Mexico, an initiative led by REDCieN under the coordination of Nancy Valenzuela and Edna Nava; three conference abstracts; and ten abstracts of research studies presented as poster during the event.
