Abstract
The Mexican College of Dietitians (Colegio Mexicano de Nutriólogos A.C., CMN), consistently committed to the continuous professional development of the profession, promoted the First National Meeting of dietitians with the aim of creating a forum for the dissemination and discussion of knowledge across diverse thematic areas. This event sought to encourage academic exchange, professional updating, and the generation of scientific content within the various fields of nutrition.
The Mexican College of Dietitians, CMN Puebla, recently established, served as host and organizer of this First National Meeting of Dietitians, which brought together a total of 152 participants under the theme: “The Dietitians as a Key Component in the Care of Human and Planetary Health.” This event represented a significant challenge, as it encompassed not only a plenary lecture hall, but also five symposia and a forum entitled “We Want to Hear You,” in which speakers shared their professional experience.
In addition, five working groups were conducted, and 18 scientific posters were presented, five of which were selected for oral presentation. The event also featured the participation of two physical activity facilitators, who led active breaks throughout the program. We were fortunate to receive the support of Universidad Anáhuac, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude for their hospitality. Furthermore, a group of speakers and sponsors participated by showcasing their products and contributions, including the donation of gifts for the raffle held at the conclusion of the event.
